The Nassau Education Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing public education throughout Nassau County, Florida.
We raise funds through corporate partnerships, community support, individual donations, fundraising events, and other initiatives to provide classroom grants and support programs that benefit educators and students within the Nassau County School District.
At the heart of our work is a simple idea: give educators additional resources to create meaningful learning opportunities for their students.
Classroom grant applications are evaluated based on their potential educational impact, allowing NEF to help teachers transform innovative ideas into real experiences for students. Our work also extends beyond classroom grants. NEF celebrates outstanding educators, supports educational initiatives, and brings businesses, schools, and community members together around a shared commitment to public education.

The Nassau Education Foundation’s mission is to provide funding opportunities through classroom grants, support initiatives that enhance public education, and recognize and inspire teachers and students.
Our mission guides everything we do—from helping an educator purchase materials for an innovative classroom project to recognizing the teachers whose dedication inspires Nassau County students every day.
A Community United Around Education
The Nassau Education Foundation’s vision is to see the community united to maximize assistance for public education by providing funding that gives all schools, teachers, students, and support staff within the Nassau County School District adequate support to meet and surpass the State of Florida learning standards and to provide the advanced skills and knowledge mandated by the global economy.
We believe strong schools are a community responsibility.
By connecting educators with businesses, donors, organizations, and residents who want to make a difference, NEF helps create a stronger network of support around Nassau County public education.

Community Leaders Working for Education
The Nassau Education Foundation is guided by people who believe that strong public schools are essential to a strong community. NEF is managed by its Executive Director and volunteer Board of Directors, bringing together individuals from business, education, and the community who contribute their expertise, leadership, and connections to advance the Foundation’s mission. Together, they provide strategic direction, oversee the responsible stewardship of NEF resources, and help strengthen relationships between our schools and the community.
