Where Our Impact Began
From the very beginning, the Nassau Education Foundation has helped educators turn strong ideas into meaningful learning experiences. In its first year, NEF supported projects across a variety of grade levels and subjects, including interactive technology, career training, arts and cultural learning. These early investments showed how additional resources can create new opportunities for students throughout Nassau County.
Technology in the Classroom
NEF helped introduce interactive learning tools like BrainPOP, giving educators new ways to reinforce lessons across science, health, art, and STEM.
Career-Ready Skills
Students in the Certified Nursing Assistant program received tools and materials that supported hands-on vocational training and practical career preparation.
Arts & Cultural Learning
Callahan Middle School students participated in an international art exchange, creating a meaningful connection between classroom learning, creativity, and another culture.
